Reviews and Ratings
I was excited to return to Westgate but left feeling mixed about my experience. While our room was beautiful and had a fantastic view, the service during check-in was frustrating with a lot of miscommunication. The amenities, particularly the water park, were overcrowded, and I found it challenging to enjoy my stay. Overall, there are great aspects, but some serious improvements are needed, especially regarding pool capacity and overall communication.
My stay at the Westgate Smoky Mountain Resort was overall a memorable experience with beautifully spacious accommodations and stunning scenic views of the mountains. The staff provided excellent service, making me feel welcomed throughout my visit. However, I found the dining options a bit limited, and the indoor water park was closed during my stay, which was disappointing. Despite that, I would definitely consider returning due to the great location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
During my stay, I found several aspects to be quite disappointing. The initial impression of the property was soured by the lack of cleanliness in my unit and the poor condition of the amenities. The area is nice, being centrally located to attractions, but the accommodations did not meet my expectations given the price.
We had a wonderful family trip with plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, especially the water park. The accommodations were spacious and well-maintained, offering great views. On the downside, the noise from construction and some unexpected disruptions from maintenance staff took away from our experience. Overall, it was a good value for a family getaway.
